Europe: The Netherlands

Do Now: Do you ever daydream during class? Draw a picture of one of those day dreams.

Today the 1st and 2nd grade learned about another country in Europe, The Netherlands. 

More specifically,we learned about Holland. We read about a day in the life of a student in the Netherlands,and compared their daily routines to ours. 

The Netherlands are very famous for their beautiful flowers, specifically their tulips. 

Because world's largest garden is in the Netherlands, we made our own tulips! We used egg cartons, tissue paper, glue and green pipe cleaners.
